Create a daily WhatsApp brief with AI

A daily brief helps when important work is spread across direct chats and groups. Normal lets an approved MCP Client read the WhatsApp Conversations you choose, so it can collect recent decisions and unresolved items without making you copy messages one by one.

What a useful brief includes

• Recent Conversation Activity that changed a plan
• Open questions grouped by person or group
• Promises and follow ups separated from background conversation

Ask for a clear time window. A request for “important activity since yesterday morning” produces a more useful answer than an open ended request for everything.

What stays under your control

The MCP Client can access only the WhatsApp Connections and permissions you explicitly select. If you want it to send a follow up, that requires separate send permission and Client Confirmation.

Does the brief include every old message?

No. Normal observes supported messages after the WhatsApp Connection becomes active and within its Message Retention Policy.
